Did some measurement of power consumption

Master Toilet LED : 1.1A

Kitchen LED : 1.76A

Kitchen and common toilet LED : 2.06A

All on (Dimmer light) ; 2.32A

Placement of solar panel do have an impact. Due to shades of window grills. In my case, when I place it upright, many strips of shadows cut across the wide of the panel, effectively reducing the “Ampere” output of the panel. Seeing 19W max in full bright sunlight. with a charging current of 1.3A to the battery

Turning the panel sideway and pushing it against the window grill. the panel managed to squeeze out 34W, producing 2.4A charging current to the battery.

Purchased this  “carborundum stone”. It is silicon carbide stone.

Carborundum, or silicon-carbide, runs 9.5 on the Mohs scale, where diamond, the hardest substance on earth, runs a 10. 66 HRC knife blades (the hardest I’ve seen) are about a 6.5 on the Mohs scale. Should be a very fast cutter for whatever grit it is.

Battery is fine

For some reason. The consumption is greater then supply from the solar panel. After charging battery without connecting load, battery indicator turns green again. The system is up and running now.  I’ve tweak the “on” time for service balcony LED. Let’s see how’s. The consumption balanced up.

One other observation is that the LED will turn on by itself at middle of night. Suspect it is triggered by the cloths hanging in front of the sensor. My presumption is the sensor works only when it senses human heat. May not be the case now.
