Endurance

[su_frame][/su_frame] Went to beautician this morning. Not me but my 2 kids, there were there to “点痣”, removing moles. Procedure involved putting anaesthetic cream on the mole to numb it before “burning” the mole away with a machine.

The anaesthetic cream is not very effective, my girl endure well with the only mole she has to remove.

My boy has a total of 4 small and 3 big mole. One large mole on his back is real deep. He tears but endure through the procedure.

Proud of them on the endurance they went though.

Perspective

[su_frame][/su_frame]

Its a lucky day for me. Car refused to start when I’m back in Singapore.

Has just completed a 3 days short stay over in Malaysia, drove around with my car for the past few days. Arrived back home at 3pm, everything looks fine. Drove over to Mei Ling Market to get dinner in the evening, only after I get the food that the car refused to start. All signal lighted up on the console, with no cranking sound. I know this is not battery issue as I’ve experienced that before.

Good for me that I managed to ring up my regular mechanic who got someone to my rescue. He is really experience, he gave a hard knock on the starter with a spanner and the engine starts.

Its lucky for me that problem surfaced only when I’m back in town and the service shop has not closed for the day.

Little Beauty of Nature

[su_frame][/su_frame] Over in Tanga Bay. It’s nice to spend the morning outdoor enjoying the sun and sea. Took some nice photos with my iPhone 6S. It turns out really nice, I get to like these micro shots of little beauties.

Xmas Bunk Bed

[su_frame][/su_frame] It is Xmas eve and we start the day fixing up a bunk bed and a loft bed for the kids. Old friend lend a hand in setting up the beds. The kids were super excited, we moved furniture around and cleared some old stuffs. We did it well within 2 hours with a little hic-cup – Missing supporting bar, make shift solution using books as support.
It’s always nice to have old friend that is always available to help.

20000 Steps Challange

[su_frame][/su_frame] It was a casual talk weeks back with the kids to clock 20,000 steps a day. At that time, the kids were regularly clocking 10,000 steps daily. They wanted to achieve a higher goal, which is very encouraging. We set this school holiday to walk from our house to Vivocity, cutting through Mount Faber, and back.

Its a test of endurance and determination to the kids, they don’t walk such long distance and hour, also the route chosen mean they’ve to move uphill.

It was all excitement on the night before the walk. They rested well and we started off after Mcdonald’s Big Breakfast. The whole journey took us in excess of 3 hours and 10.34Km in total distance covered.

They press through and achieved the goal… for me, its only till the night that I managed to clock 20,000 steps, an achievement too.

Car Paint Work

[su_frame][/su_frame] Got a try on this self applied paint for the scratches on the car. The color is spot on, gave a nice blend to the surrounding. I’ve now covered the exposed part of the paint. Good enough to last till car scrap in Aug 2019.

Kidzania

[su_frame][/su_frame]

The kids enjoyed the day over in Kidzania, tried out various vocations. I’m particularly proud of the 2 elder kids who tried a high rise obstacle and “rock” climbing. The young one was enjoying himself during the parade, in fact he was the one pulling all to participate, he has the flare for music and swing naturally.

Meditate

[su_frame][/su_frame] Meditate – focus one’s mind for a period of time, in silence or with the aid of chanting, for religious or spiritual purposes or as a method of relaxation.

It really surprised me when my son proposed to meditate with me last night. He saw me meditating for a good long while and suddenly showed interest in it last nigh. We had a 30 mins sitting along with my girl. They got restless in 10 mins, which is normal for first timer, and I’m proud they sit through the 30 mins with encouragement.

Kids Moment

[su_frame][/su_frame]

Nice thing happened today. Guiding the kids to think of the happiest moment for the day.

My happiest moment for Chloe was having a good laughed when we were reading and playing before bed. Laurent finished his vegetable by himself, even told me the strategy in eating it.. Hugo did his Hour of programming, understand now variable, enjoy playing with the rabbit’s eye and tooth.

On top of those mentioned, I’ve made progress in OSCP, start building a base script for enum. Also gotten Kali network on a good foundation.
